How to use SEO keyword Tools?(Google Adwords)

You probably already know what your website is all about, and have a ballpark idea on topics you might want to cover. However, a good idea to find more topics within your niche is to use this tool to find out what words and phrases that people are interested in.

I have been using this tool for a long time and it can really help if your brain freezes up, or if you suffer a writer's block. This is also what I use to find out what you guys are searching the most on Google and how I pick topics to write about.

Type keywords related to your website and click “Search” (see picture below)

I typed in “social media” as a keyword for my search and these are some of the topics that came up beneath the search window:

  • what is social media
  • social media marketing
  • social media websites
  • social media strategy
  • social media sites
  • social media jobs
  • social media optimization
  • social media agency
  • ignite social media
  • social media webinar
  • social media advertising
  • social media marketing plan template
  • social media events
  • social media marketing agencies
  • social media for business
  • social media seminars
  • social media definition
  • social media campaign

These are keywords and phrases that users type in on Google when they are searching for information. I'm not saying that you should start typing as a maniac right now, but over time you should be writing an article about each of these keywords/phrases (for your own keywords) to be covered as much as possible in the search engines.
