Peter Parker 513's First EP Album And Kickstarter

OK, so with less than 48 hours left to go, I think it's safe to say that I will not be reaching the $5000 goal I set out to. Honestly, I feel extremely grateful to the 18 people who were able to make donations, I assure you that I will continue to push forward to make this album happen. As I look back at the past 30 days I can't help but think of all the things that I could have done better to get more people involved, but I'm determined to only focus on the bright spots of this experience, and the brightest thought I have over all is that I did it! I put my dreams on the line for people to see and judge. The victory is already mine.

How to Create An Amazon Account

If you don't already have an Amazon account, it is time to get one, so you can donate to my Kickstarter project: http://kck.st/zreEk8
I realize that not everyone knows how to do this, so here is a step-by-step on how to create an Amazon account.

Step 1: Go to http://amazon.com (homepage) and look at the top of the page. You will either click the sign in button (if you already have an account) or where it says: "New customer? Start here." See picture below.

Step 2: Enter your e-mail address. Make sure to check the "No, I am a new customer" box. See picture below.

Step 3: You will arrive at this page. This is where you will enter your name, e-mail address (twice), date of birth, and a password. Fill out this form and click "continue" on the bottom of the page. See picture below.

Step 4: After you've entered all you information, you will now be taken back to the start page. Once you are here, you press "your account" button in the right top corner. You are now on your way to add a credit card to you page, which will be used every time you buy something on Amazon (or fund my Kickstarter project, lol). See picture below.

Step 5: This is where you will see all of your account details. To add a credit card, click the "Add a Credit Card" button in the middle of the page (see picture below). You will then get transferred so that you can fill out a form with your credit card information. And you're done. Congratulations! You now have an easier way to shop online, and to donate to my Kickstarter project. Thank you!

How To Donate On Kickstarter.com (step-by-step guide)

Some of my people has had a hard time donating to my project on Kickstarter, so I figured I'll explain it step-by-step for you all. Here is a link to my project page: http://kck.st/zreEk8

Step 1: Go to the project's main page and click the green button on the right side that says: "BACK      THIS PROJECT". See picture below.

Step 2: You will arrive at this page where you can enter how much you want to donate. This is where you can enter a certain amount yourself, or pick one of the rewards from the list. See picture below.

Step 3: After you have picked how much to donate, you go to the bottom of the page and click the button that says: "CONTINUE TO NEXT STEP". See picture below.

Step 4: Now you arrive to the login page. You have to be logged in to Kickstarter to be able to make a donation. Here you can choose whether to connect you facebook (which would be the easiest thing to do), or if you want to fill out the form in the middle, or if you already have a Kickstarter account. See picture below.

Step 5: You are now at the very last step. This page says: A lot of you might not already have an amazon account, so you have to create one on the next step. Here is a link to the post I created: "How to create an Amazon Account". See picture below.

Step 6: Congratulations, you have now helped me fulfill my dream. I thank you so much, and I a forever grateful. You can tell that you are a backer by looking at the right corner again. you will see a little sticker that says: "YOU'RE A BACKER" See picture below.

Peter parker 513 TV- Hustle and flow.. Season one episode #18#3/3 HOT NTHE BOX

Whenever I get in the studio, I feel like a kid in a candy store. I absolutely love every aspect of recording. Personally, no matter what studio I am in, I like to try and imagine my brain as a sponge in order to soak up as much of the experience as possible. From my own experiences when you're paying for the time, and you're also fairly new to the engineer and recording in general, you can have the feelings of being rushed or just not as comfortable as you can be. Here's a very helpful tri-fold pamphlet that anyone can get for free from Disc Makers. The pamphlet gives 37 tips on how to make the best out of your next session. Kickstarter - Day 1

I just launched my Kickstarter project. It's day one and I feel really good about this.
If you're not familiar with Kickstarter--it's an awesome website that allows starving artist like myself to raise money to kick-start their music career. When I first got accepted I went to Staples and got a poster board to draw up a strategy. Click here to back my project.
